So what does this all equate to when we have the following – gorgeous venue, breathtaking ocean views, and flawless beautiful brides all in the most gorgeous island of Hawaii? Simply, its Mandee and Mia. Their wedding was absolutely amazing and really exemplified who Mandee and Mia were….simple, classy, fun, and beautiful.
Mandee and Mia’s love story began in 2010. And since then, they’ve been on new adventures together and started a new journey together last month on the island of Kauai. Mandee and Mia started their day off getting ready at the Kauai Marriott Beach Resort on Kalapaki Beach in Lihue. Kauai is a special place for the gals since it is Mandee’s old stomping grounds. We loved that the girls incorporated the destination wedding theme into their wedding with their par avion invitations, luggage tags as escort cards and wedding favors, and airplanes as their table numbers.
Mandee and Mia, we had a fabulous time getting to know you both and becoming great friends through out your wedding planning fun. Your family and friends really reflect how amazing you both are. Thank you for the honor and having us come out and celebrate and document your marriage. Love you guys! – C&T
Before the girls got ready, we were thinking up of ways to do this first look. So we had the Matrons of Honor guide Mandee and Mia to meet half way before they see each other. Great job Melissa for making sure that Mandee and Mia do not purchase matching dresses! 🙂
So after the first look, we headed to Mandee and Mia’s ceremony. On the way to Koloa, we got a little ballsy and stopped at the beginning of Route 520 where the Tunnel of Trees are at. The Tunnel of Trees is one of Mia’s favorite spots on the island so we made the stop. Yes there were cars on the road…lots of them in fact. But we were able to sneak in a few shots before we held up more traffic!
The brides with their brothers…
Mandee and Mia did a quick shoe change and wore these much more comfy wedges (matching their wedding colors) to let loose for the rest of the night. Also so can climb some rocks along the coast for a few of their portraits. 🙂
Both Mandee and Mia had the funnest Father-Daughter dances we’ve seen for awhile. These dads can dance!
We’ll end the feature with this image that we love.
