When Angie + Matt first contacted us they promised that their photographers would NEVER go hungry. They fulfuilled their promise during their engagement session, remember -where we dined at their favorite places in the 626 – aka San Gabriel Valley Asian food mecca. Now, their wedding. We were STUFFED with delicious food and we also ended our evening all sugared up as we quenched our thirst with almond milk and lychee black boba tea. Angie and Matt are the only couple that we know that makes drinking boba romantical and just freaking cute! Angie and Matt got ready at the Langham and Marriott Courtyard respectively and met up for their first look at the South Pasadena Library before heading to the Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock. We just loved that their wedding truly reflected who they were – foodies at heart, boba lovers, and filled with lots of love, humor, good times, and smiles.
Angie + Matt, you two have a sense of humor like no other. We are honored to have been your photographers and join you guys on your special day. Thank you for feeding us and keeping us full. 🙂 When you find yourselves in the 626, we’ll be ready with chopsticks and boba straws in mouth. Keep smiling, laughing and enjoying each other. With love, C&T
Staring contest with Angie and the adorable dog who strolled by as we were shooting.
Wish we came up with a snowboard for our guests to sign in!! So cute, why the two dates? Well, every four years they will be celebrating two wedding anniversaries!! 🙂
We like the SMPTE color bars! Just perfect for Matt since he’s a videographer.
Very cute! Angie’s mom caught the bouquet, but she probably just wanted the movie tickets attached!! 🙂
So there is a bit of a rivalry between Angie and Matt who are alums from UCLA and Michigan State respectively. Angie wore a UCLA garter but Matt had his own plans and he surprised Angie when he pulled out a Michigan State garter instead. 🙂
Super cool to add movie tickets to the garter!! 🙂
