This wedding was certainly a great way for us to end our 2011 wedding season. This 11.11.11 date is special after all since the date sequence only comes around once every 100 years and most of all, this anniversary date belongs to this special couple, Kari and Ulises. We were fortunate to have met them through one of our former couples (we love you Bruce and Melissa) and we were just enamored with all the small heart felt DIY touches done by the bride herself. The couple even made their own photo wall with framed photographs that served as their photo booth for guests to play with throughout the evening.
Kari and Ulises, we hope you have a fantastic time on your honeymoon. Thank you for allowing us to document one of the most important days in your lives. It was truly an honor and we wish you both all the best. With love, Cam and Tracy

The cute DIY gift wrapping along with the antique brooches for Kari’s maid of honor and bridesmaids.
Look at these adorable tissue packets sewn by Kari.
The ring bearer pillow was also made by the bride.
Once the ceremony and the group portraits were completed, we were able to take advantage of the available light left and take Kari and Ulises out on the lake for some of their own portraits. We were just in love with the lake. Doesn’t it just remind you of The Notebook?
Just stunning Kari!
Kari and Ulises spent a lot of time frequenting thrift stores and flea markets searching for antique tins to use as flower vases for their centerpieces.
More DIY goodness – the “Love is Sweet” sign, candied apples, and the hand stamped treat bags for the candy!
We just love the wall that they created for guests! It was so clever to incorporate their photographs along with their families!
