Almost two weeks ago Cameron and I had the pleasure to capture more memories for Michelle and Son’s adventure book at the Newland House Museum in Huntington Beach. The Newland House is such a quaint little treasure in the beach city right off of Beach Boulevard. From the outdoor setting, the water tower, barn house, and beautiful gazebo for the ceremony – this place is too cute and perfect for couples who are looking for an outdoor venue. Since we first met with Michelle and Son, we were so excited to see what they had in store for their wedding especially how adorable these two were after engagement session several months back.
Cool, calm, collected, and ready. Those four words best describe Michelle and Son as Cameron and I entered both of their hotel rooms respectively. This day has been a long time coming for these two. Best friends, high school sweethearts, and almost eleven years later they are ready to start their next chapter in their adventure book. Their wedding day was witnessed by their family and friends who came from all over the world. Love was definitely in the air! We hope you enjoy the images below. Just to let you know, there will be more from this stunning couple too! We’re going to be photographing a trash the dress session in the coming months!!

The lovely wedding invitation suite designed by the groom, Son.
Brownie points for the groom! He bought his lovely bride another engagement ring! That huge smile on Michelle’s face really says it all!
The phone call right after Michelle opened up her gift. To be honest, Cameron and I did not plan this out. We just happened to be snapping at the same time and its great that we were both there to capture this moment.
Michelle on her way to her “first look.”
As we were arranging the wedding party we were then greeted by a tourist who was heading out to the beach. This tourist happened to be Mike Brewer, British television host for Wheeler Dealer that airs on Discovery’s HD Theater channel. I honestly had no clue who this guy was. But Cameron immediately recognized his accent and got pretty excited about it. He loves car shows and watches this guy quite a bit. Here’s a quick shot of Mr. Brewer and the Bride! The gorgeous flowers DIY’ed!! And I love that they used their grape soda bottle caps from their engagement session!
Loved the mason jars to be used as glasses for the evening!
