So a few weeks ago, I spent almost an entire afternoon buying all the small crafty things that I would need to get the wedding moving. I went to Joanns, Michael’s, Target, Paper Source, Party City, Vromans, etc…..
In almost every store I found what I needed. Hot glue sticks, moss, acrylic paint, paint brushes, stencil letters, twine, and the list goes on. The one thing I could not find was PEACH TISSUE PAPER! I called and scoured almost every store in Pasadena and there was NONE. There were definitely 12 shades of pink available, but not the color peach. Really!?! I was seriously frustrated.
Yes I could have bought it online and I was close to doing that. I just didn’t feel like buying a bulk of peach tissue paper that would last me for the next ten years.
Few days later, I did a quick pit stop to The Wedding Pantry in Old Town Tustin to pick up the items from our July window display. I noticed a cute light pomander with tons of pastel tissue-liked paper that Eva (owner of the Wedding Pantry) made. If she had this paper-like stuff around MAYBE she would have some in peach. We chatted for a bit – she gave me her tips – which brings me to today’s post – how I made my peach tissue paper using what I already have at home!
