There is a need. There is a calling. We are calling on all of our followers, friends, family, and random strangers who read our blog to join us along with our friends from Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours. They have joined forces with ShelterBox – an awesome organization that has come to Japan’s aid after the earthquakes last Friday. Each ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but each box typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.

In addition, all bloggers are uniting on a day of silence this Friday, March 18th to raise awareness, respect, and to acknowledge the devastation going on in Japan – so if you have a blog, you are more than welcome to join the effort as well! And if you don’t have a blog – not a big deal – we’d still love for you to join. Any contribution that you make big or small will make an impact as we collaborate together. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone in Japan to those who have family who have been impacted.
