I’m a so proud of this post today. This is the first solo session that Tracy has ever done. Usually she and I can take turns on being a lead photographer but she took this photo session on her own and I am just so blown away by her images – perhaps I am biased. hahaha. Anyway, below are a few photographs from this awesome session that she had. So I asked Tracy today to add in a few words from this session – since she is the one who was behind the artistry.
Words by Tracy: “I’m so excited to share these images with you all. To fill in time in between weddings, I’ve been offering portrait sessions for children and families these past few weeks. Usually Cameron accompanies me in these shoots, however he wasn’t available for the day Marie and her mother Amanda were in town. They were in the area visiting family and wanted a portrait session for the upcoming holiday season so I was happy to squeeze them in for a quick 45-minute session at the park. I was definitely nervous since I usually work with brides and grooms and rarely children. Because I was riding solo on this gig, I came in armed with a back up plan – bring a HUGE pink balloon. It was a definite hit! I think we ended up being best friends after the session. It was extremely difficult to pick out my favorites from this session but here are a few below – enjoy and let me know what you think! This is after all my first solo gig. 😀
Marie showing me her nose…..
Now her tummy…..
And her feet!
The adorable teddy bear and Marie telling me to “keep it down” since teddy bear was sleeping. SHHHHHHH!
More of the bait – I mean PINK BALLOON! 😀
Marie watching a high school cross country team run by.
As you can see by the pink ribbon tied around her wrist she wasn’t able to let go of the balloon after the session.
Say “bye!” Thank you so much for such a wonderful session and making it such a wonderful experience for me. Marie, you are indeed my new BFF!
Thanks everyone for reading my post today. ~ Tracy
