Hello Friends!
It’s definitely been a few weeks since we featured our last session and I am happy to announce that we will resume Teaser Thursday this week! This blog is a three-part series today which includes a brief review about a new bridal blog that we were invited to check out – BridePOP. So let’s just jump right in!
Last week Tracy and I were invited to be a part of the BridePOP community to check out what they were all about. There is one thing to say about this site which is: AMAZING! It is such a great resource to have for couples getting married. The site has such a fresh feel to it and I love that it links visitors to the most popular blogs out there – most importantly its so easy to navigate! There is a plethora of information from the online blogging community for the bride-to-be to help them plan for one of the most important days of their lives.
As a premiere vendor for BridePOP, I do have to say its great having having a site for vendors like BridePOP – its easy to update – just add a short bio, include some photos and video, and add our own references to the site for potential clients to contact. Not only is this a great site for wedding photographers like ourselves but also for florists, videographers, djs, wedding coordinators….ALL VENDORS! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the BridePOP community and excited to see what it entails for us a business. If you are a vendor reading this blog and would like more information from our prospective, give us a holler and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Check out our BridePOP listing too!
The Pup Pups!
When we have a chance, we love to take our dogs Ada (labrador retriever) and Tobey (golden retriever) out on trips. Luckily we were able to bring them along last weekend during our portrait session in Balboa Park. Here they are in front of the San Diego Museum of Man. Both Ada and Tobey were our assistants for the day!
WPPI Road Trip
On Monday, we spent the day with other wedding and portrait photographers at the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Road Trip in Irvine, CA. It was invigorating to hear from the hottest photographers speak passionately about the industry, meet new friends who are in the industry, and learn about the latest programs out there for our studio. Being there yesterday just pumped us up and reaffirms why we LOVE what we do. For photogs who haven’t signed up – go do it! The investment goes a long way and its just a great way to network with others who are in your geographical area. WPPI will be making nine more stops nationwide (Irvine was the first)…so if you are in the area definitely check it out! Below is a photo of the awesome Boudoir Divas giving some tutorial poses for boudoir sessions. After seeing this, we may consider offering the sessions as well!
Have a great week everyone and definitely check out BridePOP when you have a chance! Stay tuned for a Teaser Thursday!
