We met Christina and James about a year ago through our long-time family friend, Mary Anne and her husband Michael. During our initial consultation, we talked through some ideas that they had for their wedding and engagement sessions and knew that this would be one fun couple! For this session, we headed to downtown Riverside. This location was great – and offered so much – the old building, the cupcake shop, and even the streets! We then took a much needed break at Casey’s Cupcakes. We then realized that we couldn’t pass up this opportunity for more photos!

After we recharged with some savory sweets, we were ready to finish out the shoot with the sun slowly setting. The last shot with Christina and James really exemplifies what we try to achieve as photographers. We work hard to challenge ourselves composing shots for our clients – coming up with something new and fresh – and it was great that we were able to achieve that with Christina and James posing in the middle of the street.
